Firefighting Training
Course Description
Basic, Firewatch, and Fire Fighting Refresher training programs are offered on several types of Fire Extinguishers. The training is an eight hour class (8) and is done at our Fire Fighting Training facility. All aspects of fire fighting are covered from prevention and detection to extinguishment. Great emphasis is placed on communication throughout the process. Our program is among the best in the industry and includes hands-on fire fighting training using dry chemical, water, CO2, portable fire extinguishers, and wheeled and semi-portable units.
Course Compliance Requirements
The MMS (API RP T-4, T-5) and the U.S. Coast Guard requires training at least every two years. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.157 requires that employers provide employee fire fighting training annually.
