Forklift Operator Certification Training
Course Description
This course presented by SEOT-SCAT is the National Safety Council/FLI Learning Systems, Inc Course. It is designed to meet OSHA requirements in a 4 hour time frame. It covers inspections and types of forklifts. Proper lifting, carrying and setting down of palletized loads and other items are explained. Each student must demonstrate proper operating procedures as if they were in their normal work conditions.
Course Compliance Requirements
OSHA 229 CFR 1910.178 (L) states that all personnel that are required to operate a forklift must be trained and certified in the proper operation of the equipment they use.
