Hearing Conservation Training
Course Description
The Hearing Conservation Program is designed to protect your employees against potential adverse effects of work related noise and to advise them of non-occupational noise to hearing lost. This program emphasizes the prevention of noise-induced hearing loss and the treatment of it.
Course Compliance Requirements
OSHA 29 CFR 1910. 95 requires employers to implement a format Hearing Conservation Program to protect their employees from work related noise levels above a Time-Weighted average of 85 decibels. The company is required to provide hearing protection, audiometric tests, and training to employees who are required to work in high noise level areas.
