Lead Abatement Training
Course Description
This course is the completion of a thirty-two (32) hour program consisting of a twenty-four (24) hour Hazwoper program and this eight (8) hour Lead Abatement Awareness Program. The program can also, stand as an eight (8) hour Awareness Program.
Course Compliance Requirements
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1025 states that all personnel working in an area that contains or is suspected of containing lead must complete a Lead Abatement training program. They must also, undergo a physical examination, including pulmonary function testing, fit testing and blood lead levels.
