Course Description

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with instruction covering subsurface safety devices, surface safety devices, devices and component identification, emergency support systems, undesirable events, safety analysis, and pollution control to protect personnel, the environment, and the facility from threats to safety caused by the production process.

Course Compliance Requirements

This program is approved by the Mineral Management service. It is mandatory that all personnel operating offshore production facilities complete this thirty (30) Hour course. This course must be repeated every three (3) years.
